When it comes to news search, Google News gets most of the love. But Bing News is a solid news search engine too, and it offers functionality that Google News doesn't - like the ability to limit your news search by country or region using the loc: syntax.
CountryFeed takes advantage of Bing's loc: syntax to create country-specific searches for general keywords. For example, searching for "database" globally would be overwhelming, but searching for "database" limited to France gives you manageable results and probably uncovers articles that would be buried in a general web search.
Since Bing News offers its search results as RSS feeds, you can monitor general keywords in specific countries. Enter your query, select countries, and CountryFeed will generate Bing News keyword RSS feeds for every country you specified and bundle them into an OPML file which downloads to your computer.
